Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Quality Assurance Tester with 2–3 years of experience to join our team and ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications, APIs, and communication platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing, bug tracking, test case creation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing of web applications, dashboards, APIs, and communication platforms to identify functional, usability, and performance issues
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business and technical requirements
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, UI, and API testing across multiple products and modules
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution with the development team
- Validate bug fixes, perform retesting, and ensure product stability before production deployment
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and support teams to understand requirements and verify feature functionality
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a QA perspective to improve product quality
- Ensure releases meet quality standards by conducting pre-release checks and preparing QA sign-off reports
- Help improve QA processes, test documentation, release checklists, and overall quality standards within the team
- Identify edge cases, usability issues, and opportunities for process or product improvements
- Support testing during new feature launches, product enhancements, integrations, and platform updates
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in software quality assurance, manual testing, or software testing roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, QA methodologies, and defect life cycle
- Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports
- Hands-on experience in manual testing of web applications and APIs
- Familiarity with bug-tracking and project management tools such as JIRA, Trello etc
- Good understanding of API testing tools such as Postman
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively in a startup environment
Good to Have
- Basic understanding of test automation concepts and QA best practices
- Experience working with SaaS products, communication platforms, CRM systems, or API-based products
- Familiarity with browser debugging tools and cross-browser testing
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, release cycles, and agile development practices
- Exposure to performance testing or automation testing tools is a plus
