Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a Quality Assurance Tester, based in Bengaluru. The QA Tester will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure quality and functionality before deployment. Daily responsibilities include designing test cases, performing manual and automated testing, identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution. The role also involves contributing to test planning and improving QA processes through feedback and analysis.
Qualifications
- Software Testing and Quality Assurance knowledge, covering manual and automated testing practices
- Experience in creating and executing detailed test cases and reporting defects
- Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent
- Understanding of Agile frameworks and working in collaboration tools like JIRA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field
- Experience in ESG-related applications is an added advantage
