Role Description The Quality Assurance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for inspecting materials and finished products, executing quality control tests, and documenting results in accordance with established procedures. The technician will assist in maintaining and calibrating testing equipment, monitoring production processes to identify deviations, and supporting corrective and preventive actions. Day-to-day responsibilities include following standard operating procedures, updating quality records, collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve issues, and supporting internal audits and compliance activities. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills to monitor processes and ensure products meet specifications.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Quality Management capabilities to interpret data, identify trends, and support continuous improvement.
- Candidates should possess experience with Calibration and maintenance of testing and measuring equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Relevant technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of standard quality tools such as ERP software, documentation practices, and basic statistical concepts is beneficial.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures, maintain accurate records, and work effectively in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
- Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams in an on-site setting.
