Role Description The Quality Assurance Team Lead is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the QA function and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software releases. This role involves designing and implementing test strategies, creating and reviewing test cases, and coordinating quality control activities across projects. The QA Team Lead will guide and mentor QA team members, collaborate closely with product, development, and operations teams, and support defect triage and root cause analysis. Daily responsibilities include monitoring test progress, preparing QA reports, supporting process improvements, and ensuring that testing aligns with business and technical requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong Quality Assurance and Quality Control skills with experience defining and enforcing QA standards.
- Proficiency in developing Test Strategy and designing comprehensive Test Cases for complex systems.
- Excellent Analytical Skills for identifying defects, interpreting test results, and supporting root cause analysis.
- Experience leading or coordinating QA teams, including mentoring team members and managing workloads.
- Familiarity with test management tools, bug tracking systems, and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
- Knowledge of cloud-based applications and transactional or back-office systems; experience with tolling or payment processing is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
