We are seeking an experienced QA Leader to drive quality assurance across large-scale web scraping and data extraction pipelines. If you are passionate about data quality, automation, and building high-performing QA teams, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute QA strategy for scraping systems and data pipelines
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of QA engineers and data validators
- Design automation frameworks, test plans, and data validation checks
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, freshness, and formatting consistency
- Monitor scraper stability amid website changes and anti-bot defenses
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot extraction issues and enhance parsers
- Establish quality metrics, SLAs, and reliability dashboards
- Drive root-cause analysis and continuous quality improvement
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in QA / Software Testing, including leadership roles
- Strong understanding of web scraping architectures and challenges
- Experience testing scrapers, crawlers, APIs, and ETL pipelines
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and Python scripting
- Solid knowledge of HTML, DOM, XPath, CSS selectors, JSON, and databases
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies
Preferred Skills
- Experience with distributed scraping frameworks
- Understanding of proxy management, CAPTCHA handling, and anti-bot mechanisms
- Exposure to cloud platforms and data quality frameworks
- Background in data-as-a-service or web scraping companies
