About Gigbox:
Gigabox is a 60-minute delivery-led omnichannel retail platform for general merchandise, seamlessly bridging online and offline shopping to deliver a unified "App Bhi, Store Bhi" customer experience. We operate category-dedicated branded stores - spanning Kitchen, Sports, Toys, Bags, and more that are fully integrated with our iOS and Android apps.
Our core USPs include 80-90% product assortment availability, a true touch-and-feel in-store experience, and fast local delivery within 60 minutes. Within eight months of launch, we achieved over 7 crores in cumulative revenue, attaining both store-level and company-level profitability. We currently operate two large-format stores in Jodhpur, Rajasthan: The Gigabox Kitchen Store (4500+ sq. ft.) and Gigabox Sports Store (4000+ sq. ft.), both launched-on 10th Nov 2025. We are actively expanding with two additional Jodhpur stores for Toys and Bags, scheduled to launch in September 2026. Backed by 7 crores raised across two funding rounds in our first year, our current ARR is 15 crore and is projected to reach 30 crore post-expansion.
Our Vision:
Our overarching vision is to build India's No. 1 general merchandise platform across the top 50 cities by launching 700 stores over the next 5-8 years.
About the Role
In quick commerce, the catalogue is the store. A customer who can't find a product, sees the wrong image, or finds a price that doesn't match the shelf will not come back. At Gigabox, where one SKU lives on the app, in the store POS, and in the delivery picker's hands at the same time, a single catalogue error multiplies across every channel. We're hiring a Catalogue QA Executive to own the accuracy, completeness, and quality of our product catalogue across thousands of SKUs in Kitchen, Sports, Toys, Bags, and upcoming categories. You'll be the final gatekeeper before any product goes live, making sure every listing is correct, compliant, searchable, and at par with the best quick-commerce catalogues in India (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Amazon). With AI tools and strong processes, you'll audit and fix at a scale that previously needed an entire content team.
System Overview
At Gigabox, multiple systems work together to keep operations and business running smoothly. We have an e-commerce app for customers, internal systems to manage operations and inventory, in-store POS, and a delivery system for delivery partners. Product data flows from our inventory and catalogue management system into all of these. You'll own the quality of that product data, ensuring what a customer sees on the app matches exactly what is on the shelf, in the POS, and in the picker's order.
Responsibilities
● Listing Quality Checks: Review every new and updated product listing for correct title, description, brand, MRP, selling price, pack size, variants (size, colour, material), and key attributes before it goes live
● Image QA: Ensure product images meet Gigabox standards for resolution, white background, angles, cropping, and consistency, and that images match the actual product variant
● Taxonomy & Category Mapping: Ensure every SKU is mapped to the correct category, sub-category, and filters so customers can browse and discover products easily
● Search & Discoverability: Validate search keywords, synonyms, and Hindi/Hinglish terms (e.g., "tawa", "kadhai", "bat-ball") so products show up for the way real customers search
● Compliance Checks: Verify mandatory Legal Metrology details (MRP, net quantity, manufacturer/importer details, country of origin, customer care info) plus correct HSN codes and GST rates
● Cross-System Consistency: Catch mismatches between the app, POS, and inventory system for price, barcode/EAN, stock status, and product details
● Duplicate & Error Detection: Identify and merge duplicate SKUs, fix broken variants, wrong barcodes, missing data, and inactive listings still showing live
● Bulk Uploads: Validate bulk catalogue uploads (Excel/CSV) from category and vendor teams before they are pushed to production
● Catalogue Audits: Run regular audits on live catalogue health (missing images, weak descriptions, price errors, out-of-stock items still visible) and track error rates
● AI-Assisted Workflows: Use AI to jobs to generate and improve product titles, descriptions, and attributes at scale, and to speed up QA checks, while keeping human judgement on accuracy
● Issue Tracking & Reporting: Log catalogue errors, their root cause, and fixes; share weekly quality reports and help prevent repeat mistakes
● Store & Physical Verification: Coordinate with store teams to physically verify product details (packaging, labels, variants) when listings are unclear
● Collaboration: Work closely with Category, Store Operations, Vendor, Design, and Tech teams to fix issues end-to-end and improve catalogue processes Requirements
● 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce catalogue management, catalogue QA, or product content quality
● Strong attention to detail; you notice a wrong pack size, a mismatched colour, or a ₹1 price difference
● Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, data cleaning, bulk sheet handling)
● Good understanding of product attributes, variants, and category taxonomies in general merchandise (Kitchen, Home, Sports, Toys, Bags, etc.)
● Working knowledge of Legal Metrology packaging requirements, HSN codes, and GST rates for retail products
● Hands-on experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for content generation and data checks
● Basic image editing skills (Canva / Photoshop / remove.bg or similar) to judge and fix image quality
● Familiarity with barcodes/EAN, SKU structures, and inventory or catalogue management systems ● Good written English and Hindi; understanding of how Indian customers search in Hinglish
● Ability to handle high volumes of SKUs with speed while maintaining accuracy More

● Willingness to work closely with Founder & leadership team
● Process-oriented mindset; you build checklists and systems instead of fixing the same error twice ● Strong curiosity about retail, consumer behaviour, and omnichannel commerce
