About the Role
We are looking for a QA & QC Engineer (Civil) to lead quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance across our manufacturing partners and project sites. This is a highly hands-on role involving field inspections, laboratory testing, production audits, root-cause investigations, and continuous process improvement. You will work closely with production teams to ensure every batch consistently meets GreenJams' quality standards. Success in this role will be measured through product quality compliance, testing accuracy, defect reduction, and process adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures across all GreenJams manufacturing units.
- Ensure compliance with approved mix designs, internal quality standards, and production specifications.
- Monitor manufacturing processes through regular production audits and on-site inspections.
- Conduct and supervise laboratory and field testing of construction materials.
- Analyse test results and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate quality issues at manufacturing plants and construction sites.
- Perform root-cause analysis and work with production teams to resolve quality concerns quickly.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, testing records, and compliance reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product consistency and reduce defects.
- Support new product development, validation trials, and scale-up activities while embedding quality systems from the outset.
What We're Looking For
- 1–4 years of experience in QA/QC, materials testing, or quality management within construction materials or manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory and field testing of concrete, masonry, or cementitious products.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, quality systems, and root-cause analysis methodologies.
- Willingness to travel regularly across manufacturing units and project sites.
- B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with ISO quality systems or quality audits is an advantage.
- Kannada is preferred; proficiency in Hindi and English is required.
