Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer based in Ghaziabad. The individual in this role will oversee quality planning and implementation across fire protection system design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning to ensure compliance with relevant codes and internal standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting inspections and tests on materials and completed work, documenting findings, identifying non-conformities, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with engineering and project teams. The engineer will support internal and external quality audits, maintain quality records, review project documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes, procedures, and checklists. The role also involves close collaboration with suppliers, site teams, and clients to address quality-related issues and ensure consistent, reliable performance of delivered fire protection systems.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Management for engineering projects and system installations.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Quality Control and Inspection of mechanical, electrical, or fire protection systems.
- Candidates should possess knowledge and exposure to Quality Auditing, including participation in internal and external audits.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with relevant fire safety, engineering, and industrial standards (e.g., NBC, NFPA, BIS, FM Global, OISD).
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, Fire/Safety Engineering or related field).
- Experience in construction, industrial projects, or fire protection systems is preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and QA/QC documentation.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to document findings clearly.
- Comfort working on-site in industrial and infrastructure environments and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in basic office and documentation tools; familiarity with QA/QC reporting software is an advantage.
