Job Title: QA/QC Engineer (Quality Assurance & Quality Control)
Location: Mumbai, Thane Shilphata

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all construction activities comply with quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role involves inspections, documentation, and coordination with site teams to maintain quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
🔍Quality Control & Inspection
- Conduct regular site inspections of Civil/MEP works
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications
- Monitor material quality and workmanship
📐 Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents (ITP, checklists, reports)
- Review method statements and material submittals
- Ensure compliance with project quality plans and standards
🧪Testing & Verification
- Coordinate and witness material testing (concrete, steel, etc.)
- Verify test reports and maintain records
- Ensure corrective actions for non-conformance
⚠️ Non-Conformance & Corrective Action
- Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
- Track and close NCRs with proper documentation
- Implement preventive and corrective measures
🤝 Coordination
- Work closely with project managers, consultants, and contractors
- Attend quality meetings and audits
- Ensure timely approvals and inspections
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction quality standards
- Experience in QA/QC procedures and documentation
- Ability to read drawings (CIVIL)
- Familiarity with IS codes / project specifications
- Good communication and reporting skills
Qualifications
- B.E. Civil or Diploma in Civil Engineering only
- Relevant QA/QC experience in construction projects
Preferred
- Experience in high-rise / infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
- Certification in QA/QC (if any)
Reporting To
- Project Manager / QA/QC Head
Salary
- As per industry standards (based on experience)
