Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Assurance Manager(Valves) located in Pune. The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure compliance with quality standards throughout all stages of the valves manufacturing process. Core responsibilities include overseeing quality control processes, conducting inspections, managing quality documentation, coordinating with various teams to resolve quality issues, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to meet both customer and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in quality assurance practices, quality control techniques, and process improvement strategies
- Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing standards, specifically for forged and cast valves
- Excellent skills in inspection, testing procedures, and reporting to maintain compliance with specifications
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
- Proficiency in understanding engineering drawings and technical documents
- Working knowledge of ISO, API, and other quality standards applicable to valve manufacturing
- Experience in using quality assurance tools and software
- Previous experience in the valve manufacturing or related industry is highly beneficial
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred
