Job Title: QA Engineer (Manual Testing | Automation Preferred)

About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing, a solid understanding of software quality assurance methodologies, and hands-on exposure to automation testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and functional requirements to create comprehensive test strategies and test cases.
- Perform end-to-end manual testing for web and/or mobile applications.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
- Maintain detailed test documentation, execution reports, and release sign-offs.
- Support UAT activities and validate production deployments when required.
- Contribute to automation efforts by creating or maintaining automated test scripts wherever applicable.
- Continuously improve QA processes and testing methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience writing detailed test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
- Good understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with SQL for basic database validation.
- Experience using defect management and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of performance or security testing will be an added advantage.
