Quality Assurance Junior Executive
Location- Sanaswadi Pune Plant
Role Purpose
To support the Quality Assurance function by assisting in the implementation of quality systems, ensuring adherence to defined standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives while learning to manage customer quality requirements and internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Support & Execution
- Assist in implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes on the shop floor.
- Support senior QA team members in daily quality activities and inspections.
- Follow defined quality procedures and ensure adherence during production and assembly.
2. Quality System Support
- Help in maintaining quality standards, inspection procedures, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IMS / IATF guidelines under supervision.
- Assist in updating quality records and maintaining documentation accuracy.
3. Monitoring Quality Metrics
- Support tracking of key quality parameters such as in-house rejection, PPM, and defect trends.
- Collect and compile data for quality reports and analysis.
- Assist in identifying basic quality issues and reporting them to seniors.
4. Customer Complaint Coordination
- Support in handling customer complaints and internal quality issues.
- Assist in data collection, initial analysis, and documentation of complaints.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely response and closure.
5. CAPA / Problem-Solving Support
- Assist in root cause analysis using basic problem-solving tools (Why-Why, Fishbone, etc.).
- Support preparation of CAPA and 8D reports.
- Follow up on implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to address quality concerns.
- Support in implementing quality improvements on the shop floor.
7. Audit Support
- Assist in internal audits, process audits, and documentation checks.
- Help prepare documents and records for external and customer audits.
- Ensure audit observations are documented and followed up.
8. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation.
- Ensure proper filing and control of quality documents as per IMS requirements.
- Prepare daily/weekly quality reports as required.
9. Continuous Improvement Participation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and learning programs.
- Support efforts to reduce defects and improve process efficiency.
- Actively learn quality tools and methodologies.

- Accuracy and timeliness of quality data reporting
- Reduction in in-house rejection (supported contribution)
- Timely support in CAPA / 8D documentation
- Audit readiness and documentation accuracy
- Responsiveness in complaint handling support
- Adherence to quality procedures
