Role: Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-obsessed QA Engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a sharp eye for catching issues others miss. This role is heavily focused on manual testing (80%) with some automation (20%), ensuring seamless user experiences across web platforms and browser extensions.
Key Responsibilities
Manual Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform end-to-end manual testing across web applications and browser extensions
- Identify bugs across UI, UX, functionality, and responsiveness
- Conduct cross-browser and multi-device testing
Bug Tracking & Reporting
- Create detailed bug reports with screenshots, videos, and reproduction steps
- Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and validate fixes
- Ensure proper severity classification and prioritization
Design & Exploratory Testing
- Perform design QA by comparing implementation with Figma/mockups
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and hidden issues
- Validate pixel-perfect UI implementation across screens and devices
Release & Regression Testing
- Execute regression testing for critical workflows before releases
- Build and maintain test scenarios based on real user behavior
- Ensure smooth releases with minimal production issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in QA (preferably in startup environments)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on UI/UX and design accuracy
- Experience writing clear, structured, and reproducible bug reports
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Linear, etc.)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Browser DevTools
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- Experience with Figma or similar design tools for comparison
- Basic API testing using Postman
- Familiarity with screen recording tools (Loom, CloudApp)
- Experience testing across web, mobile web, and browser extensions
