Role Description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for a contract-based, on-site role located in Delhi, NY. The role involves designing and implementing software testing processes, developing test cases and procedures, and ensuring software reliability and performance. The responsibilities will also include identifying and resolving defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, and maintaining detailed documentation of testing activities. The QA Engineer will work to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in software testing, including creating test plans, managing test cases, and executing manual and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools and debugging processes.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks, scripting languages, and performance testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum development environments is a plus.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is desirable.
