Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a Quality Assurance Engineer based in Bengaluru. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing software testing activities. The primary tasks will include writing and executing test cases, performing manual testing to ensure product quality, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with the development team to analyze system functionality and ensure performance meets specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Experience with test automation tools (Katalon, Co-Pilot, Selenium, Playwright).
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Python/Java, JavaScript).
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter).
