Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The Quality Assurance Engineer will design, write, and execute test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of Qynko’s platform and AI-driven features. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing manual testing across web and mobile interfaces, logging and tracking defects, collaborating with engineers and product managers to clarify requirements, and ensuring issues are resolved before release. The role also involves contributing to test plans, maintaining testing documentation, supporting regression and release testing, and suggesting improvements to QA processes and tooling. The Quality Assurance Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment to help deliver a stable, user-friendly product for creators and experts worldwide.
What You'll Need
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on QA/testing experience, ideally on a SaaS or consumer web product
- Solid grounding in QA fundamentals — test case design, STLC, bug lifecycle, regression strategy
- Experience testing payment gateways or other financial flows
- Comfortable with API testing tools like Postman
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (GitHub Issues, Jira, or similar)
- Sharp attention to detail, and the instinct to test like an adversarial user, not just a happy-path one
- Clear written communication, especially in bug reports
- Comfortable in a small team where priorities shift fast and roles overlap
- Experience using AI-powered tools to design, generate, execute, and maintain automated software tests.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Mobile and web app testing experience (Android/iOS)
- Basic SQL for data validation
- Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API, Instagram API, or similar integrations
- Experience at an early-stage startup, or in the creator/coaching/EdTech space
