Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of QA processes, hands-on experience with bug tracking tools, and a passion for delivering high-quality software. Exposure to automation, especially leveraging AI-driven testing tools, is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand product requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform manual testing of web/mobile applications to ensure product quality
- Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like Jira
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA methodologies
Required Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in software testing (manual QA)
- Strong understanding of QA lifecycle, STLC, and defect management
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar bug tracking tools
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of test automation frameworks
- Exposure to AI-based testing tools or automation using AI
- Familiarity with scripting languages.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
