We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in Automation to join our growing team. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality software products through effective automation testing.
Position Overview:As a Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for our healthcare software solutions. You will work closely with the development and product teams to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using tools and frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and other automation tools.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Design and execute automated tests for functional, performance, security, and regression testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during automated tests, working with the development team to ensure quality products.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks, methodologies, and test processes to drive efficiency.
- Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo.
- Report test results, issues, and progress to stakeholders and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality.
- Ensure all automated tests are maintained and run on a regular schedule, with an emphasis on test reliability and coverage.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Proven experience in Automation Testing with a focus on healthcare or enterprise software solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, and other industry-standard frameworks.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, system testing).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with mobile testing using frameworks such as Appium for Android and iOS.
- Understanding of healthcare-specific software requirements and standards.
