About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Manual Tester to join our growing software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications through thorough manual testing practices. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute test cases for web, mobile, and API applications
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• Conduct API testing and validate responses
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Linear, or similar
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure product quality
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing as required
• Understand client requirements and assist in creating user stories
• Execute database validation using basic SQL queries
• Ensure applications meet UI/UX standards and usability expectations
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 2-4 years of experience in manual software testing
• Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices
• Hands-on experience in:
◦ Web Application Testing
◦ Mobile Application Testing
◦ API Testing
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation
• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (Jira, Linear, etc.)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Basic understanding of automation tools like Selenium
• Awareness of performance and security testing fundamentals
