We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing websites, web applications, and digital products to ensure high quality, performance, functionality, and seamless user experience across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automation testing for websites, web applications, and digital products.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts for functional and regression testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs/issues using bug tracking tools.
- Validate UI/UX, responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and application workflows.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and API testing.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and QA review processes.
- Ensure product quality before deployment to staging and production environments.
- Prepare QA reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Manual and Automation Testing concepts.
- Experience in testing websites, web applications, and digital products.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as:
- Playwright
- Jest
- Selenium
- Cypress
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
- Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for writing automation test cases.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
- Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Good understanding of responsive and cross-browser testing.
- Basic database knowledge and ability to validate data when required.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Good to Have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
- Knowledge of performance or load testing tools.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and deployment workflows.
- Understanding of accessibility and security testing basics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
