Role Description The Quality Assurance Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Meerut. This role involves planning, designing, and executing test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software and embedded systems used in electronic and telecommunication products. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing manual testing, documenting defects, collaborating with development and product teams to clarify requirements, and verifying fixes through regression testing. The Quality Assurance Engineer will also contribute to test plans, support continuous improvement of QA processes, and help maintain compliance with internal quality standards and customer expectations. The role requires a detail-oriented approach, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing principles, including understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Manual Testing and practical knowledge of Test Execution in product or software environments.
- Ability to design, maintain, and optimize Test Cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Relevant technical background, such as a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of defect tracking tools and documentation of test results and reports.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or telecommunication products testing is an advantage.
