EXPERIENCE

3+ years.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Design and maintain clear, well-structured test cases and scripts based on system requirements and user stories.

• Perform manual testing for web-based applications (including CRM) to validate functionality, usability, and performance.

• Support automation testing efforts by executing test scripts and reporting issues, under guidance.

• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing across various environments.

• Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments.

• Analyse requirements to prepare test plans and test data.

• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.

• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and other QA team members to resolve issues and clarify requirements. • Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

• Follow established QA processes and best practices to ensure quality deliverables.

• Assist in QA documentation and contribute to process improvements where applicable.

• Learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as part of continuous development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with manual and functional testing.

• Ability to create clear and effective test cases based on business requirements.

• Basic knowledge of database testing and data validation techniques.

• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities.

• Some exposure to Agile/Scrum processes is a plus.
