About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team on-site in India. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about ensuring product excellence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. As a QA Engineer at Convin, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality, performance, and reliability of our AI-driven SaaS platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and designers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our enterprise clients' expectations. This position is ideal for candidates eager to develop their skills in automation testing, AI integrations, and enterprise software development while contributing to a product trusted by top-tier organizations globally.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or related fields, demonstrating proficiency in automation testing frameworks and tools. A strong command of programming languages such as Python or Java is essential for writing and maintaining test scripts. Familiarity with QA tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms is required to manage testing workflows efficiently. Candidates should have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of QA principles, SDLC, and agile methodologies. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is mandatory, or current enrollment in such programs. Passion for learning, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working in a high-growth startup environment are highly valued qualities.
Responsibilities
- Testing and Validation: Conduct comprehensive manual and automated testing to verify product functionality, performance, and stability across various scenarios and environments.
- Test Case Design: Develop, document, and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Bug Reporting & Tracking: Log identified bugs and issues using issue tracking tools, prioritize them based on severity, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Automation: Build, execute, and maintain automated test scripts utilizing Selenium and programming languages such as Python or Java to streamline testing processes.
- Regression & UAT: Perform regression testing, performance testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for each release to ensure consistent quality and functionality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers throughout the development lifecycle to uphold quality standards and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Feedback Loop: Continuously evaluate QA processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
