About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our travel platform. Your primary focus will be on testing various aspects of our product, identifying bugs, and collaborating with product and development teams to enhance overall user experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to the quality of products used by thousands of travelers worldwide.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. Basic understanding of manual testing concepts is essential, along with a proactive attitude and ownership-driven approach. Candidates should be eager to learn automation techniques and AI-based testing tools. Prior experience in software quality assurance, even at an entry level, will be advantageous. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if complemented by relevant skills and experience.
Responsibilities
- Review existing product workflows and ensure they align with Business Requirement Documents (BRD) through comprehensive manual testing.
- Take ownership of testing processes for new builds, updates, and product features, ensuring they meet quality standards before release.
- Analyze existing bookings and user flows to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- Create detailed and clear test cases, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria to guide testing activities.
- Collaborate with development teams to communicate bugs and issues effectively, ensuring timely resolution.
- Gradually adopt and implement AI tools to automate repetitive test cases, increasing efficiency and coverage.
- Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to provide insights on quality metrics and testing progress.
