We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in Big Data Testing to join a fast-paced and innovative technology team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in cloud-based data platforms and modern testing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end testing and quality assurance of large-scale data pipelines on Google Cloud.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and automation frameworks.
- Validate and ensure accuracy of data processing workflows using BigQuery, Dataproc, Hive, and Spark.
- Conduct testing for data migration from on-premise/Hive/Spark environments to GCP.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and data teams to improve product quality through both manual and automated testing.
- Support deployment validation, monitoring, and testing across development, staging, and production environments.
- Ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability across big data systems.
Required Skills:
- 5–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on Big Data Testing
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially BigQuery and Dataproc
- Strong expertise in Hive, Spark, SQL, and PySpark SQL
- Experience in Data Pipeline Testing and Validation
- Solid understanding of Automation Testing frameworks and Test Case Design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cloud data migration projects
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation tools
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
