🔍 We’re Hiring: QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join a fast-growing product-based technology company building scalable, AI-driven digital platforms. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end quality and work closely with engineering teams in a modern automation-first environment.

🚀 The Role

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of complex web-based applications. You will design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and play a key role in continuous integration and delivery.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks using Playwright
• Own the QA lifecycle: requirement analysis, test planning, execution, reporting, and monitoring
• Improve QA productivity using AI-assisted testing tools for faster test creation and debugging
• Manage and trigger automated test suites through CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Perform peer reviews of automation code, ensuring best practices such as DRY and Page Object Model (POM)
• Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects; perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Backend Validation: Execute database testing using SQL and validate integrations via API testing

✅ Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience testing complex web-based applications
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript, including framework development from scratch
• Strong coding skills in TypeScript / JavaScript with Node.js
• Experience with Jira and Xray for test and defect management
• Solid understanding of SQL, API testing, and backend validation
• Strong knowledge of STLC and automation design patterns
• Analytical mindset with a strong focus on quality and automation efficiency

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Playwright MCP
• Exposure to AI-assisted automation workflows
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
