Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer (SDET) with strong expertise in Core Java, API automation, and distributed systems testing. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in building, maintaining, and improving automated test frameworks while supporting CI/CD pipelines and ensuring high‑quality releases.
This role requires a mix of manual, semi‑automated, and fully automated testing and the ability to work in a fast‑paced engineering environment.
Operational Oversight
- Maintain and enhance regression test suites written in Core Java.
- Develop, automate, and maintain complex API test scripts in a Linux-based environment.
- Create, manage, and execute test cases for distributed systems & microservices.
- Work with JIRA and test management plugins like Xray or Zephyr for test planning and execution.
- Choose appropriate testing methods (manual, semi‑automated, automated) to ensure product quality.
- Embed automation into the development lifecycle wherever applicable.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with developers to maintain testing infrastructure.
- Execute and interpret performance, load, and stress tests.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as an SDET / QA Engineer in modern tech environments.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java for test automation.
- Expertise with automation frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, TFS, Octopus, etc.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies including unit, integration, smoke, performance, load, stress, regression, acceptance, usability, and security testing.
- Solid knowledge of SOA / Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
