About the Role
You're a developer at heart who happens to work in testing. You write real code, care about pipeline health, and get genuinely excited about wiring AI into test workflows. You also understand that not everything can be automated — and you're comfortable rolling up your sleeves for manual testing when it matters.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and backend systems
- Integrate AI/LLM tools into testing pipelines — think smart test generation, failure analysis, self-healing selectors
- Set up and own CI/CD testing gates in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
- Write clean, reusable test code — not scripts you're embarrassed to commit
- Explore and adopt new tools before they're mainstream
- Jump into manual exploratory testing for complex features, edge cases, or releases where automation isn't enough yet
What We're Looking For
- Strong coding skills in Python or TypeScript
- Should aware of Playwright, Cypress, pytest, or similar frameworks
- Comfortable with REST API testing and basic CI/CD concepts
- Curiosity about AI tooling — you've at least tinkered with LLM APIs
- Pragmatic about manual testing — you don't avoid it, you just don't want it to be the whole job.
