Role Description This full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role is based in Hyderabad. The role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of web and software solutions. The engineer will create and maintain test cases, perform manual and automated testing, identify defects, and collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve issues. Daily responsibilities include participating in requirement reviews, refining test plans, monitoring test results, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools. The engineer will also help enhance testing frameworks and support release cycles to maintain high standards of performance and user experience.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing practices, including test planning and defect management.
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining Test Cases and performing Manual Testing across web or mobile applications.
- Proficiency in QA Automation, including developing automated test scripts and working with test automation frameworks and tools.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC, version control systems, and issue-tracking tools (e.g., Git, Jira or similar).
- Ability to analyze requirements, document test scenarios, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in digital marketing or lead generation platforms is a plus, along with familiarity with performance and regression testing.
- Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment.
