QA Engineer (Automation)
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science or related STEM field.
- 5+ years in software engineering/testing automation; ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Webdriver.io, JMeter, Azure DevOps).
- API testing, reusable scripts for CI/CD, SQL automation, and frontend technologies (Angular, Bootstrap, REST). Proficiency in programming languages (C#, Java, JavaScript, Python).
- Skilled in monitoring and reporting QA metrics.
- The Quality Assurance Engineer ensures high-quality software delivery by designing, executing, and maintaining both manual and automated tests.
- The role involves developing testing frameworks, automating test scenarios, conducting regression testing, and integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- The engineer collaborates closely with development and DevOps teams to identify issues, provide feedback on requirements, and drive continuous improvement in QA processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain test frameworks and cases for web and mobile applications.
- Automate test scenarios, report results, and perform regression testing.
- Identify, track, and resolve issues using defect management tools.
- Review requirements for completeness and testability.
- Provide effort estimates, status updates, and manage test environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps to embed automation into CI/CD pipelines.
