Job Summary
We are hiring a QA Automation Engineer to develop scalable automated testing frameworks and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products across enterprise platforms and customer-facing applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in automation testing, API validation, CI/CD integration, and Agile quality engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Create automated test scripts for regression, smoke, integration, and functional testing.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand application requirements and testing strategies.
- Execute manual and automated testing activities during product releases.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform API testing, database validation, and backend testing.
- Identify defects, track issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve them.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
- Generate test reports and quality metrics for stakeholders.
- Improve testing standards, processes, and overall software quality practices.
- Conduct performance and load testing for critical systems.
- Support production release validation and post-release monitoring.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of database testing and SQL queries.
- Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.
- Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Knowledge of containerized testing environments.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale applications.
- Understanding of DevOps and shift-left testing practices.
