Role Overview
We are looking for a Quality Engineer with 2 - 10 years of experience who can support our
product engineering team in ensuring high-quality releases. The candidate should have
experience in manual testing and basic exposure to automation testing, with a strong interest in improving test coverage and learning automation frameworks.
You will work closely with product managers, developers, and QA engineers to test features,
identify issues, and ensure smooth product releases.
Key Responsibilities
Manual Testing
- Understand product requirements and create test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira or similar tools.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure product stability before release.
Automation Support
- Write and maintain basic automation test scripts.
- Assist in maintaining automation test suites for regression testing.
- Learn and contribute to automation frameworks for web or API testing.
API & Integration Testing
- Test APIs using tools like Postman.
- Validate API responses, error handling, and integration workflows.
Collaboration
- Work with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and reproduce
issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and release testing cycles.
Required Skills
- 2-10 years of experience in software testing
- Good understanding of software testing fundamentals
- Experience with manual testing of web applications
- Basic exposure to automation testing tools Appium / Playwright (any one)
- Experience with API testing tools Postman or similar
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools Jira or similar
