Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Chennai Area for a Quality Assurance Analyst. The Analyst will be responsible for executing quality assurance and control processes to ensure product compliance with technical specifications. Core responsibilities include conducting manual testing, designing and implementing test cases, preparing reports & documentations, identifying process improvements, and collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teams to maintain high product standards.
Qualifications
Experience: 2–5 years in a QA/QC role within surface coating, electroplating, or automotive component manufacturing.
Mindset: An analytical eye for defects (blistering, uneven thickness) and a commitment to strict batch traceability.
Education: Degree/Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, or Metallurgy Engineering, or a B.Sc. in Chemistry.
Key Testing Skills: Hands-on experience with Salt Spray Testing (ASTM B117) and Coating Thickness Gauges (Elcometer/Fischer).
Process Knowledge: Familiarity with shot blasting, dip-spin coating, and curing oven parameters.
Fastener Expertise: Understanding of torque-tension and coefficient of friction testing for high-strength fasteners is a huge plus.
Standards: Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management systems.
Monthly in hand Salary- Rs. 30,000-35,000
