Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Position Description:
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer/Sr. Software Engineer – Guidewire Tester- to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Perform functional and automation testing for Guidewire BillingCenter and PolicyCenter.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks across application platforms.
- Create and execute test cases, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution.
- Validate business processes within the Personal Insurance domain.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure quality deliverables within sprint timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure complete test coverage.
- Prepare clear test documentation and status reports.
- Drive issues from identification to closure with strong ownership.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and QA best practices.
Required Skills (Must Have)
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing.
- Experience in both Functional and Automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter and PolicyCenter.
- Personal Insurance domain knowledge.
- Guidewire Associate Certification.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills (Good To Have)
- Exposure to other Guidewire modules (e.g., ClaimCenter).
- Experience with CI/CD integration for automation.
- Additional Guidewire certifications.
