Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and motivated QA Fresher to join our team. As a QA Fresher, you will be involved in testing web applications, mobile apps, and software products to ensure the highest quality standards. You will work closely with senior team members and assist in executing test plans, reporting bugs, and contributing to the overall quality assurance process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand project requirements and assist in developing test plans and test cases.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications across various platforms.
- Identify, document, and report bugs and issues encountered during testing.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Participate in test case reviews and execution of test scenarios.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Execute API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
- Assist in preparing test reports and results for management review.
- Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to quality initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong passion for quality assurance and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of manual testing and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Understanding of basic programming concepts (preferably in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills (Not mandatory for freshers):
- Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium or Playwright.
- Basic knowledge of API testing.
- Exposure to version control tools like Git.
- Any prior internship or academic project experience in testing is a plus.
