Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Quality Analyst at Spinnsol – Zertify. The Quality Analyst will design, execute, and document test plans and test cases for web-based digital inspection software, ensuring that features meet functional and non-functional requirements. The role involves performing manual and, where applicable, automated testing across different modules, identifying defects, analyzing root causes, and collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and support teams to resolve issues. The Quality Analyst will review specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, provide feedback on usability and edge cases, and help define quality standards and metrics. Day-to-day tasks also include contributing to regression testing, releasing validation, maintaining test data and environments, and continuously improving QA processes and documentation to support reliable, secure, and compliant software delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, analyze defects, and derive data-driven insights.
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance practices, including test planning, test design, regression testing, and documentation of results.
- Experience with Quality Control activities such as executing test cases, tracking defects, validating fixes, and verifying product releases.
- Knowledge of Quality Management principles, including defining quality standards, metrics, and continuous improvement within a software development lifecycle.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, clarify requirements, and report findings clearly and constructively.
- Experience testing SaaS or web applications; familiarity with inspection, asset management, or TIC industry software is a plus.
- Understanding of basic security, data integrity, and compliance considerations in software products.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking and test-management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
