Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst with over 4 years of experience specializing in web applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our applications meet both business and technical requirements while providing an outstanding user experience. This role involves rigorous testing processes, advanced debugging, and performance assessments to ensure flawless product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Business and Functional Understanding:
- Collaborate with business analysts to review user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Map test cases to specific requirements using tools like JIRA or TestRail, ensuring full traceability.
- Utilize requirements traceability matrices (RTMs) to ensure all user expectations are addressed.
- Evaluate application usability from a real-world perspective.
- Validate scenarios simulating common user journeys (e.g., account creation, transaction processing, data entry).
- Testing Processes and Methodologies:
- Test Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans and scenarios that align with business workflows, establishing clear entry and exit criteria for UAT phases.
- Exploratory Testing: Employ session-based testing and heuristic evaluation techniques, using mind maps or flowcharts to uncover potential user interaction issues.
- Regression Testing: Re-run critical test cases to ensure that updates or bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Cross-Browser and Device Testing: Execute tests across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) and operating systems, using developer tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools) to inspect the DOM, monitor console logs, and analyze network traffic.
- Technical Knowledge and Tools:
- Web Technologies: Demonstrate expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including event handling, asynchronous operations, and AJAX). Understand the client-server model, RESTful API principles, and data formats such as JSON and XML.
- API Testing: Utilize tools like Postman or Swagger for API requests, validating responses, error handling, and response times.
- Performance & Usability Assessments:
- Use tools like Lighthouse to measure page load times, resource usage, and responsiveness, analyzing metrics such as TTFB and FCP.
- Perform advanced debugging and troubleshooting using browser developer consoles, version control systems (e.g., Git), and SQL queries to validate data consistency.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, specifically with web applications.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, Python, .Net Core, etc.).
- Experience with testing tools (JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Swagger, Lighthouse).
- Ability to use browser developer tools for debugging and performance analysis.
- Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of business requirements and the ability to map them to effective testing strategies.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail with a passion for ensuring the highest quality of deliverables.
