Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented
QA Engineer to support UI applications within our Order Management platform. This role will focus on feature validation, test planning, UI automation, hotfix verification, and release validation.
The ideal candidate has experience testing modern Single Page Applications and is comfortable building and maintaining UI automation using tools such as Playwright. This individual should be proactive, collaborative, and quality-focused.
What a Day In The Life Looks Like
Feature Review & Test Planning
- Review requirements and participate in feature discussions
- Create detailed test plans and test cases
- Identify regression risks and edge cases
- Validate business logic and UI behavior against requirements
UI Automation
- Develop and maintain automated UI tests using Playwright (or similar tools)
- Improve automation coverage for critical workflows
- Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain reusable and maintainable automation frameworks
Hotfix & Release Validation
- Validate bug fixes and confirm resolution
- Perform regression testing across active release branches
- Support production hotfix validation when required
- Ensure release readiness from a QA perspective
Documentation & Quality Process
- Review documentation for completeness and testability
- Maintain clear test documentation and traceability
- Contribute to improving QA processes and standards
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with UI developers and product managers
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and planning sessions
- Provide timely updates on QA progress and risks
- Act as a collaborative and reliable team member
What You Bring To The Team
- 1–5 years of experience in software testing or QA engineering
- Hands-on experience with UI automation tools (Playwright preferred)
- Experience testing modern Single Page Applications .
- Strong understanding of test case design and regression strategy
- Experience validating releases and hotfixes
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with GitHub (PR reviews, CI integration)
- Basic understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Prior exposure to:
- Order Management Systems
- Supply Chain Execution platforms
- Retail technology systems
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST clients)
