Role Description
We are looking for a Quality Analyst for a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun. The Quality Analyst will be responsible for analyzing software systems, identifying potential issues, and ensuring overall quality for successful delivery. Daily tasks will involve creating test plans, designing and executing test cases, tracking and reporting defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues, and ensuring compliance with quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle. This role also involves leveraging quality assurance tools and methodologies effectively to assess and improve software performance.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance processes, testing lifecycle, and industry-standard methodologies
- Proficiency in designing test plans, writing test cases, and executing manual and automated testing
- Experience with defect tracking tools, bug reporting, and working closely with development teams to resolve issues
- Ability to understand software requirements and translate them into effective test strategies
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in troubleshooting
- Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is an advantage
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working within cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications in QA are a plus
