About The Role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and passionate Code Quality Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our trainees develop the technical skills necessary for successful careers in top-tier enterprises. As a Code Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, and providing constructive feedback on trainee code submissions, ensuring they meet production-level standards. You will also play a vital role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our training materials and repositories. This is an ongoing, full-time contract role based on India Standard Time (IST), ideal for professionals who thrive in a dynamic, educational environment and are committed to fostering technical excellence.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in software development, quality assurance, or a similar technical role is required. Familiarity with various technology stacks such as Full Stack, Data Engineering, or DevOps is highly desirable. Strong technical documentation skills and proficiency in version control tools like Git, GitHub, or GitLab are essential. Experience with AI-powered code review tools and automated quality checks will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Review code submitted by trainees, providing clear, actionable, and constructive feedback to ensure adherence to production-level coding standards, including security, performance, and readability.
- Assess trainee assignments and deliver grades that align with program objectives and quality benchmarks.
- Monitor and evaluate trainee progress by analyzing their technical skills, offering performance feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide targeted guidance through detailed comments on code commits, fostering a deep understanding of technical concepts and best practices.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings with the Engineering Manager to discuss progress, review priorities, and coordinate review activities.
- Assist in maintaining and updating training repositories, ensuring version control and documentation integrity.
- Contribute to the creation, verification, and refinement of training course materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Utilize AI-powered tools and automated linters to enforce coding standards and identify common issues efficiently.
- Help troubleshoot and debug code snippets across various technology domains, providing mentorship and technical guidance to trainees.
