Key Responsibilities:
• Handling direct tax litigation matters including assessments, appeals, notices, and scrutiny cases
• Drafting submissions, replies, and rectification applications before tax authorities
• Assisting in representation before Income Tax Authorities, CIT(A), and other appellate forums
• Reviewing assessment orders, tax notices, and preparing case summaries
• Conducting tax research and analysis on direct tax matters and judicial precedents
• Coordinating with clients for data collection, documentation, and litigation support
• Assisting in tax compliance, tax advisory, and departmental audits whenever required
• Managing timelines and ensuring timely response to notices and litigation matters
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Qualified CA
• Experience in Direct Tax Litigation and Income Tax assessments
• Good knowledge of Income Tax Act, tax proceedings, and appellate matters
• Strong drafting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
