About the role

Qualcomm Software Content Compliance Team Works With Internal And External Groups To Manage Their Use Of Open Source And Third-Party Software. The Compliance Team Is A Multi-Disciplinary Team With A Variety Of Experience And Skills. Your Responsibility Will Be To Support The Applications And Systems That Qualcomm Depends On For Our Software Licensing Compliance And IP Protection. Your Tasks Will Include Developing Web Services, Micro-Services, Automation And Workflows To Optimize The Open-Source Review Process At Qualcomm. You Will Work In High Level Languages To Manipulate Source Code And Data Relating To Source Code, Products, And Releases To Enable Our Large-Scale Automated Operations. You Will Also Develop Integrations With Engineering Tools And Systems, Perform Administration And Scripting Activities In A Linux Environment, Review Data (SQL, Elastic Search) To Troubleshoot, Work With IT/Release Engineering To Investigate Issues In SCM Environments And Provide Direct User Support To Our Compliance And Legal Teams For Integration Issues. You Will Interact Directly With End-Users And Stakeholders Across The Company To Resolve Problems, Provide Information To The Internal Team And Follow Up With Customers To Provide Support. You Will Be Required To Learn And Understand The Workflows And Process In Place For Our Scanning And Compliance Review Work To Effectively Support The Internal And External Teams.
