TITLE: Community Banker Intern

DEPARTMENT: Retail  



JOB SUMMARY:

As a Community Banker Intern, you will assist customers with financial transactions, provide excellent customer service, and gain practical experience in banking operations. This internship offers an opportunity to learn about banking procedures, compliance, and customer relationship management while working in a fast-paced environment 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments. 

· Provide account information and assist with inquiries regarding bank services.

· Ensure accuracy in handling cash, checks, and financial documents

· Support branch staff with daily operations and special projects.

· Promote bank products and services as appropriate

· Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements applicable to this position.

· Foster and preserve a culture of inclusion.

· Additional duties and responsibilities may be required to support the company’s mission, vision and values.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

· Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent customer service and communication abilities

· Attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately

· Basic knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus

· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment


WORKING CONDITIONS:

· This job requires extended periods of standing

· Must be able to lift 50lbs

· Duties are performed in a professional office environment.


SALARY & BENEFITS:

The anticipated starting hourly wage for this position is $17.00 per hour. The actual wage will be based on qualifications and business needs and may vary, as permitted by applicable state law.
