Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor (QS) for our Mumbai office. The QS will manage cost estimation, budget preparation, and project cost control. Key responsibilities include conducting material quantity take-offs, preparing quotations, tracking project expenditures, and collaborating with project teams to ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and deadlines. The QS will also negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to achieve competitive pricing.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and project budgeting.
- Proficient in vendor management, subcontractor negotiations, and supply chain coordination.
- Familiarity with interior contracting work, including knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other related services.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project costing software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Educational qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- Prior experience in interior contracting or a similar industry is highly preferred.
