Role Description The QMS & External Audit Compliances role is a full-time, on-site position based at Zeon Lifesciences Ltd in Paonta Sahib. The role involves maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with regulatory, customer, and internal standards across nutraceutical and Ayurvedic manufacturing operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and updating SOPs and quality documents; coordinating internal and external audits; ensuring timely closure of audit findings; and monitoring compliance with national and international certifications. The role also includes conducting risk assessments, supporting validation and qualification activities, training teams on quality and compliance requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to address non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions. The candidate will work closely with regulatory, production, quality control, and management teams to ensure continuous improvement and audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, evaluate audit findings, and support risk-based decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, interface with auditors and regulatory bodies, and prepare clear reports and documentation.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of finance and the ability to understand financial statements to assess the impact of compliance activities and audit outcomes on business performance.
- Candidates should possess auditing skills, including experience in planning, conducting, and supporting internal and external audits, as well as managing CAPA and follow-up actions.
- Relevant experience in QMS, GMP, and regulatory compliance in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with standards such as FSSAI, AYUSH GMP, WHO GMP, NSF GMP, and FSSC22000 is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmacy, Life Sciences
