The Senior Data Engineer Role This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a Senior Data Engineer role where you'll not only design and build powerful batch and real-time integration solutions, but also play a key role in shaping how data empowers decisions across the business. Working within the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) team, you'll own the end-to-end delivery of scalable data systems, working with a modern tech stack including Qlik/Talend products, AWS, API/Real-time services and AI Platform agents. You'll also have the opportunity to support, train, and collaborate with teams globally, while taking the lead on data-driven initiatives that matter. What makes this role interesting? Work with cutting-edge tech – Use modern platforms like Qlik/Talend, AWS and AI agents to architect next-gen data solutions. Lead initiatives that scale – Guide critical developments that enhance performance, compliance, and data accessibility. Share your knowledge – Be involved in mentoring and training others on data integration tools and practices. Improving performance and reliability – Streamline infrastructure and ensure systems are scalable, secure, and always on. Driving consistency and compliance – Ensure robust documentation, testing, and change control processes are in place and followed. Solving real-world problems – Bring your analytical thinking to the table and tackle complex challenges with elegant solutions. Leading with initiative – Take the reins on critical projects that push the boundaries of what's possible with data at scale. We're looking for a teammate with: • BA/BS degree in Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related field • 5+ years of building System Integration solutions • Excellent working knowledge and hands-on experience with Qlik/Talend Real-time Integration (or comparable API/Real-time integration tool/technology). • Strong experience with cloud technologies (preferably AWS), GitHub, Java/Python scripts, Message Queues (Kafka) and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes) • Advanced SQL skills and experience writing complex queries • API/Real-time integration product certifications will be a plus • Knowledge of other leading Data Integration, Data Management, and Master Data Management tools • Good team player, along with strong relationship building skills • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills The location for this role is: India – Bangalore
