Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at Qlik, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our business intelligence and analytics products. You will work closely with our product teams to understand their data needs and requirements, and then build scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines and systems to meet those needs. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from a variety of sources - Building and maintaining data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions - Developing and optimizing data models and schemas to support our analytics and reporting needs - Automating data processing and workflow management - Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision making Qualifications: - 3-5 years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role - Proficient in Python, SQL, and various data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Airflow) - Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) - Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake concepts - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Passion for working with data and driving data-driven insights
