Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) Engineer, based in Bharatpur. The QHSE Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing occupational health programs, managing environmental health standards, and ensuring Safety Engineering practices. Additionally, the role involves conducting training sessions to promote workplace safety, overseeing operational safety protocols, and fostering a culture focused on environmental sustainability and workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Health & Safety practices, including risk assessments and inspections
- Strong expertise in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Environmental Compliance
- Knowledge of Occupational Health standards and related regulatory requirements
- Experience in Safety Engineering and the development of safety protocols
- Ability to design and deliver workplace safety Training programs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with water and wastewater sector operations is a plus
- Certification in health and safety standards or EHS is an added advantage
