🎯 Experience Required :- 2–5 Years
💰 Salary Range :- ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 per month
(Based on experience & practical exposure)
🔬 Role Summary
The role is focused on quality control of cenosphere products with strong involvement in development of new grades based on customer requirements and plant capability.
The candidate should be comfortable with:
✔ Lab testing
✔ Physical property analysis
✔ Process correlation
✔ Trial execution
✔ Product optimization
This is a highly practical role involving both lab and plant-level activities.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Quality Control (Core Responsibility)
Perform routine testing of cenosphere batches including:
• Particle Size Distribution (Sieve / Laser if available)
• Bulk Density & True Density
• Sink-Float / Sinker Analysis
• Moisture Content
• LOI (Loss on Ignition)
• Visual & Morphological Checks
Additional responsibilities:
✔ Maintain batch-wise QC records
✔ Ensure consistency as per customer specifications
✔ Identify deviations and coordinate with production team
✔ Maintain traceability and documentation
2️⃣ Product Development & New Grade Development
Develop new grades based on:
• Density variation
• Particle size control
• Sinker reduction
• Application-specific customer requirements
Responsibilities include:
✔ Conduct lab & plant trials
✔ Correlate QC parameters with end-use applications
✔ Work closely with sales & technical teams
✔ Optimize grading and separation process
3️⃣ Process Improvement
✔ Improve classification & grading efficiency
✔ Study impact of fly ash/raw material variation
✔ Suggest process improvements for better yield & quality
✔ Coordinate with production team for process stabilization
4️⃣ Documentation & Reporting
✔ Maintain SOPs for testing methods
✔ Prepare COA (Certificate of Analysis)
✔ Generate trial & development reports
✔ Track trends in quality parameters
🎓 Preferred Qualifications
Education
B.E./B.Tech in:
• Chemical Engineering
• Materials Engineering
• Ceramic Engineering
• Metallurgy / Mineral Processing
OR
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in:
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Industrial Chemistry
(with strong hands-on physical testing experience)
