Role Description The QC Inspector is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai, responsible for ensuring that products and components meet defined quality standards and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting mechanical and optical components, conducting visual and dimensional checks, and documenting test results in accordance with established procedures. The QC Inspector collaborates with production and engineering teams to identify defects, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves maintaining inspection records, complying with relevant defence and industry quality standards, and contributing to audits and internal reviews to uphold RRP S4E’s high-precision manufacturing benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Strong Quality Control and Inspection skills for mechanical and optical components.
- Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management practices within manufacturing environments.
- Effective Communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of precision measurement tools, gauges, and relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO or defence-related norms).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Prior experience in defence, electronics, optics, or high-precision manufacturing is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, quality, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to safety and compliance.
